5 symbols that Represent the American Society........

One of the most recognizable American symbol is the American Uncle Sam. He stands there in his American Flag outfit pointing at Americans to get involved and active by joining the Army to fight for the Country.Uncle sam has an important thing to all americans because he wants the Americans to fight for their country and to never give up on fighting for their rights and freedoms.Also he wants to Show the American Pride.

This is an American symbol because its states that no matter what Race or Religion or culture you are , Everyone should have an opportunity to sucessed in America especially children because they need an  education.Because they are the ones that will run our future and gives us  hope for America.

 

Mcdonalds is another symbol that represents the American Society because America is the biggest country with Obese people.We are known for eating large amounts of unhealthy foods.Mcdonalds is one of the most famous fast food restaurants in our country because of their low prices and good service.

Jersey Shore is a popular show in America today.Jersey shore represents the style of the Teen Living in america and its portrayed as a bad picture as Americans.This show is watched mostly by teenagers and children and they receive bad influences and info that can lead them to do things that they really dont want to do.People may argue that shows like these should not be in T.V. because it represents a BAD AMERICAN SOCIETY.

Facebook is a social network that is used by millions of Americans, Also it is one of the most famous social network in america today.Facebook gathers many people to keep in touch with each other and meet many other from different places that become friends.Facebook represents america because its a social network that gathers many different types of groups of different societies to become part of one group or be become friends or become part of one whole society.

Silly Rubberbands AWESOME....

Remember those silly shape rubber bands?Omg, when i first saw them i thought they were cool.So right away i went to the jewel to get some because they were cool looking and i wanted one sense everyone had one.I showed them around to my friends and they would show me theres or we would even exchange.That's  how crazy and excited we where.Most of the students in school had them as well and they would exchange with others that even the teachers would get mad that they would be playing around with them and they would even criticize us for having them.Like one of my teacher said, Omg, you guys are High schoolers not toddlers for having those silly rubber bands.We would reply to her well their cool.But she wouldn't get it,she would still say you guys are not kids..But no one listen to her because no one cared about her comments..

This story is related to my class of sociology because we talked about many new vocabulary words that describe our society and things in society.So one word that its so related to this is FAD because Fad is a Unusual behavior that is spread easily or fast but disappears so quickly that no one knows when its gone.So the Unusual behavior that was spread at society for a little period of time was the silly rubber bands because they were in for a month or so and no one even got to know when they were out of sale or out of this society.They were completely gone and no one has them no more not even me.But i still have them....They were awesome.

At work i feel so left out :(

Omg,  I think it feels horrible to feel left out of an group.I say this because i experince this at my job  all the time because before i just to work alot an now i bearly work, plus once i get back to work  from a day or two days off i completely feel left out and unfamiliar on whats going on at work.Like on tuesday i worked and then on wednesday and thursday i have it off and back to work on friday, so on friday i feel like so diffent from others plus i feel left out sense it has been 48 hours off work. I think that by experincing this i am like an out group person and the other person that have been working all days off the week are the ingroup person sense they know exactly whats going on at my job and they know what to do.But for me its so different because each day you do something different.

My experince at work is related to sociology because we are learning about Groups and i am relating my self as an outgroup sense i am like left out at my job for not knowing whats going on and for not working alot and then the in groups of my job are those who actually know whats going on at work and they have been working all days of the week.

Fear Factor....

Have you watched the show called "Fear Factor"? Fear Factor is the show where many different kind of people from different places meet up in a place to assist on the show that its all about competing by doing scary freaky things that they think people are afraid to do them so they go home instead of trying the challenges to win lots of money.Well yesterday I was watching this show and I notice that the people in the show are part of a INTEREST GROUP sense they are competing to accomplish a goal of winning lots of money.Also they are cooperative members of that interest group sense they are individuals that combine efforts to achieve their goal which in this show everyones goal is to beat everyone else to win the money that they offer at the show for competing.

Well i related this show to my class of sociology because we are talking about many different types of groups and vocab words that describe them.So in the Fear Factor i found out that the people who participate in their are part of a interest Group and they are described as Cooperative sense they are trying hard to achieve a goal.

PUZZLES ARE FUN.............

Have you ever Formed a Puzzle? If so you know, how fun and frustrating it is.Well in my childhood i just to formed puzzles with my family and we would formed those puzzles that would contain like 500 or 1000 pieces which where the hardest ones but we would still tried to formed them.By the way we did formed one of 1000 pieces but it took us like months to finish it.We finished it by dedicating all our time to it and by working together as a family.Everyone had a part of the puzzle to formed it sense we had the colors and shades separated so we would connect everything at last and to make it easier for us.Also we would follow the print of the image to help us have an idea where each piece would connect to and to make it easier.

This life story connects to my class of sociology because we formed a puzzle acouple days ago and we would followed up some strategies as a group in order to formed that puzzle.The same strageties i used with my family i used them with my teamates in my class.The strategies that we used where working together as teamates and friends and being social to each other and communicating as well, to help each other.Also we would follow the print of the image and the pattern of the light.I think that if you work as a group with some other people it makes it easier to formed what ever it needs to be build up or be constructed.Being social with others makes it easier and being happy by having them by your side and by not feeling felt out or lonely.So find a friend to be with or to help them on building a friendship  or a puzzle.

Government Bill connected to Jane Adams!!!!!

Have you ever assist to a government assimilation? If so, you know how entertaining it is.Well in High school we take the class of government and so you get to learn how the government process works.In that class you have to create a bill or lets say a Law to see if the other people agree with you or not and also hear their arguments and opinions that they make.These arguments can be counterarguments or for your bill. Depending on the  people decision this bill can be passed or fail.Well so sadly my bill didnt passed because our bill was about Equal Rights For Women and so many Men in the Assimilation Disagreed or other people just would make arguments Like " Why would we pass a bill like this if their is already equal rights for Women!'' Which based on my research i disagreed with many peoples counterarguments because they just didnt get it that women are not equal as men because they get lower wages than man and also they tend to not have the same opportunities like men.So in the Government assimilation my group and I would protest or we would fight  againt those who disagreed with our bill,  so this is related to jane Addams because she would do the same thing to  fight to defend the  womens  rights.

My connection to the sociology class right know is that we are learning about many Old people who are sociologists that made a study in  sociology or they  know something about sociology.Well the person i choose was Jane Addams and she was fighting for the Rights of women as well as Susan B.Anthony and Alice paul and many others.Well my connection to the Government class to sociology is that in Government my bill was about Equal rights for Womens and thats related to the Protests and the arguments that Jane Addams made to  put an end  to The womens Suffrage and make it happened that all women should be Equal as men and that's the same arguments that we would make in the government assiimilation.So I as a women like Jane addams,  we waneted the Same rights for women to be equal as Men.

My name is Brenda,  I am 17 yrs old and I was born in Mexico, Guanajuato.I am a senior this year at High School. And I am a very quiet, shy person.Also i am a really nice, friendly person. I like to meet up new people every day.On my spear time i like to watch T.V or do creative things like coloring pictures or drawing. The biggest influences of my life are my Mom and My older Brother.I say this because these two persons are always helping me on my struggles and they help me succeed by pushing me to go to the right direction.Also they had tought me many things in this life that tell me whats good and what's bad.Also these family members always make me happy and they are always there for me. They are my role models and my biggest influences.My goals are to become very succesfull in life and get a well pay job that will help me succeed.BUt to accomplish this goals I first have to go to college which thats another goal i have in mind.
